The Original V2 insert is a performance upgrade to the fan favourite Original Insert.
At Rimpact, we believe that our inserts are best experienced as a pair, click here to read why, but we understand not everyone needs or wants to purchase a set; this product contains 1x Original V2 Insert only, so is a great way to get your hands on either a replacement or upgrade for your current setup.
Rimpact's key benefit is in it's vibration damping qualities. Most of the vibration felt through the bike comes from the front wheel, through the fork and into your hands. This makes running Rimpact in the front wheel a necessity and will significantly improve the feel of your bike over rough terrain. It will also reduce fatigue over longer descents making running an insert in the front a must! We highly recommend you buy a set of inserts for these reasons.
Please Note: There is a 'No Valve' product option available in the drop down menu that ships without a valve for those who are replacing an insert and already own a pair of Rimpact or Peaty's Insert Compatible Valves. Rimpact must be used in conjunction with our valve design or an insert compatible valve such as Peaty's MK2 valves.
Suitable for rims with an inner width of 25mm - 35mm and tyre widths 2.4" - 2.6". It is possible to use the insert with a narrower or wider tyre but it will increase the difficulty of fitting significantly.
Use about 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle to ensure the extra surface area of the insert is coated with plenty of fluid to spare. Our inserts are made from closed cell foam and cannot absorb liquid, however some sealant will cling to the outside of the insert requiring a slightly higher dosage. It can be injected through Rimpact Valves but is better poured directly into the tyre.
Weight: approx 95g per insert for 29", 90g approx for 27.5" and 85g approx for 26".

Returns and Warranty Policy
Returns Policy if Purchased Direct from RimpactMTB.com:
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back until you have contacted our customer service team for a reference number. Our email is customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Obvious signs of use
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds When Purchased Via RimpactMTB.com (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 working days.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
Shipping:
To return your product, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com for a returns reference and postage address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Warranty:
If you believe the item has failed prematurely or is defective upon receipt and would like to peruse a warranty claim, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com and let us know. For instances where the product was purchased through an approved retailer – please contact the retailer as a first port of call. The retailer will then contact Rimpact directly on admin@rimpactmtb.com and await instructions.
Rimpact PRO and Original carry a 30 day warranty from the date of purchase which covers manufacturer defects or premature failure. It does not cover misuse or damage as a result of incorrect installation. More information is available on our website, www.rimpactmtb.com.
