At Rimpact, we believe that our inserts are best experienced as a pair, click here to read why, but we understand not everyone needs or wants to purchase a set; this product contains 1x EDH Insert only, so is a great way to get your hands on either a replacement or an upgrade for your current setup.
Rimpact's key benefit is in it's vibration damping qualities. Most of the vibration felt through the bike comes from the front wheel, through the fork and into your hands. This makes running Rimpact in the front wheel a necessity and will significantly improve the feel of your bike over rough terrain. It will also reduce fatigue over longer descents making running an insert in the front a must! We highly recommend you buy a set of inserts for these reasons.
Rimpact EDH is Rimpact's new most protective insert. Using the same dual layer design as the Pro insert, it utilises an Energy Sensitive layer in conjunction with Rimpact ORIGINAL Foam to harden on impact and dissipate extreme forces across itself and the foam below rather than into the rim. The material remains supple and malleable at rest meaning its easy to install yet when it counts, Rimpact EDH steps it up to maximum protection mode and allows you to ride it out when there's no easy line choice! The EDH uses a wider profile to better support modern wide tyres usually found on ebikes and a thicker Pro layer to offer even more protection than the previous insert king, the Rimpact Pro.
Please Note: There is a 'No Valve Required' product option available in the drop down menu that ships without valves for those who are replacing an insert and already own a pair of Rimpact Unblockable Valves. Rimpact must be used in conjunction with our valve design or an insert compatible valve such as Peaty's MK2 valves.
Suitable for rims with an inner width of 30mm - 40mm and tyre widths 2.4" - 2.8". The EDH is optimised around a 2.5" tyre and will offer high levels of support for this width and all the way up to 2.8". However this means it is very difficult to fit to a 2.4" tyre with a narrow rim and should only be attempted by experienced and proficient DH tyre and Insert fitters. Do not purchase if your rims are out side of this spec.
Use about 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle to ensure the extra surface area of the insert is coated with plenty of fluid to spare. Our inserts are closed cell and cannot absorb liquid however some sealant will cling to the outside of the insert requiring a slightly higher dosage. It can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tyre.

Returns and Warranty Policy
Returns Policy if Purchased Direct from RimpactMTB.com:
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back until you have contacted our customer service team for a reference number. Our email is customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)
* Obvious signs of use
* Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
* Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds When Purchased Via RimpactMTB.com (if applicable):
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 7-10 working days.
Late or missing refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@rimpactmtb.com.
Shipping:
To return your product, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com for a returns reference and postage address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Warranty:
If you believe the item has failed prematurely or is defective upon receipt and would like to peruse a warranty claim, please contact customerservice@rimpactmtb.com and let us know. For instances where the product was purchased through an approved retailer – please contact the retailer as a first port of call. The retailer will then contact Rimpact directly on admin@rimpactmtb.com and await instructions.
Rimpact PRO and Original carry a 30 day warranty from the date of purchase which covers manufacturer defects or premature failure. It does not cover misuse or damage as a result of incorrect installation. More information is available on our website, www.rimpactmtb.com.
